Kathy Patrick & other Authors

This weekend, May 2 - 4, 2008, I had the honor of spending time at Kathy Patrick's Beauty Salon & Bookstore in Jefferson, TX. (www.beautyandthebook.com). The place is truly amazing! Check out the photos in this Ning! Kathy is such an advocate for Literacy and I truly admire her for that! Catalina Island & Zane Grey

I just got back from a wonderful trip to California with my sweetie. Among our adventures was a trip to Palm Springs so that I could introduce him to my Mom & Stepdad. He was charming as usual and got their approval! Rick also had a book signing for his Short Stories book at the Palm Desert Barnes & Noble. It's been a looooonnnng time...

Wow...I guess this is one part of web 2.0 I've been ignoring for awhile. But there's SO MUCH OUT THERE!!! I'm having fun with my delicious account (don't remember where to put those periods) and snuggling up with google so we can become better acquainted. I just love that website, and I was (or am I still?) a diehard Yahoo fan. Pulpwood Queens Girlfriend Weekend 2008

My best friend and noted author, Rickey Pittman, (www.rickeypittman.com) invited me to Kathy Patrick's Pulpwood Queens Girlfriend Weekend in Jefferson, TX.
