Share 'Wanting to become a Texas school librarian'

I have been trying to research the steps in becoming a librarian. Am I correct in that you have to have a Master's degree before you are allowed to take the TeXes? Can I ask where you went to school? I will probably have to do it all online because there isn't a school close by that has Library Science. thanks in advance for any help and advice, glynette
