I have not posted in two years. The Mockingbird Award books were selected in June and the activities workshop was today. I am excited about the books and activities for this reading program for K to 2nd grade. Once again Mackin Books has provided Abilene ISD schools posters and bookmarks of this year's list. They also underwrite the program by paying for our Mockingbird statue.Thank you Mackin Books!

Done Enough

I had been working everyday since school was out (including three days of LoTi Training), but at 4:00 on Monday I decided I was done enough to not go to work yesterday. We all know how hard it is to never "get done" and that eventually you just have to walk away. Yesterday I went shopping instead of cleaning house (the long claimed burning desire.)
