I just finished my 4th year as a school librarian, my first at the jr high level. We are adding another grade to our school next year so I expect to be very busy, hopefully. I have 3 grown children and one grandaughter. My husband and I live in the country so I commute 45 minutes to work. It gives me time to listen to audiobooks!

Sandra,
Have you looked at the Technology TEKS for 6th-8th grades? When I worked on an elementary library curriculum about 6 years ago, I seem to recall that the TEKS for 6th grade had many opportunities for instruction by the librarian, teacher, or both. I did not examine 7th-8th grade because our assignment ended at grade six.
