Locked in the Library: A Halloween Tale
This is an interactive video I used last year. I built a "cave" over my story pit and the classes would enter with their teacher and sit. I was not present. The video would start playing by itself on an old black and white Predicta television. As the story unfolded I was hidden and making the same effects happen around them as the saw on the television. At the very end I jumped out from behind all of them and gave them a scare. I then read them scary folk stories and Halloween poems. Even the 6th graders got a big scare out of it!
