Thanks for the kind words. I intended it to be more than a biography. I wanted to encourage students to write for themselves. We are creating a second grade picture book right now so it fit in nicely with that project as well. I use a Sony product called Vegas Video to edit. It has proven to be everything I need to produce videos for school. I have a lot of my science videos up at Teachertube under "Dr. Loopy."

Wow! What a clever idea. Dr. Seuss is one of my favorite authors to read aloud to students. Everyone loves Dr. Seuss!

I am currently a MSLIS student at UHCL. Your video is great and what a clever way to interest students in biographical information about their favorite authors. I enjoyed the sound effects and creative elements you added. It could also be used to show students ways to brainstorm for writing. There are so many different ways you could use this video with different grade levels. What program do you use to create your videos?
